Our Mission Statement

UGames Australia strives to be the leading company supplying learning, innovative and educational toys that make our children a little smarter, a little happier and a little more creative.

Welcome to our web site

UGames was started in Australia by myself and Bob Moog in 1997. We had a vision that learning and educational games should be part of the Australian toy market and should be available to every mother in just about every retail outlet.

At that early stage, only highly promoted or licensed games found their way to the mass market retailer's shelves. It had always been this way so who wanted to change it? We did!

This change occurred in 1997, when KMart and TRU established instore game learning centres, promoting games to mothers that would ultimately make their children a little smarter. Driven by titles such as Carmen Sandiego, Kids on Stage, Secret Squares and 20 Questions for Kids the games market slowly changed. Buyers then realised that mothers would be the primary purchaser for this untapped games market. Combined with increased retail margins and lower inventory levels, retailer's return on investment now looked considerably higher.

During the next five years UGames established itself as an industry leader and then started the journey to expand into other profitable toy segments.

UGames Australia has just celebrated its eleventh year in Australia, supplying fun learning toys to children. We represent some of the world's largest, creative and innovative companies in the toy industry. These companies include University Games, Creativity for Kids, The Poof-Slinky Company, The Learning Journey International, Smoby and Zoob. We also design games, puzzles and toys, and our marketing team are constantly sourcing new products from overseas suppliers that complement our overall corporate strategy.

During 2008 we will be working with several local inventors to produce games that will ensure children of today grow up a little smarter. One in particular - BRIGHT BUTTONS - encourages natural curiosity and lateral thinking and helps young minds grow.

We believe we have a social responsibility to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and adhere to local and international toy safety standards.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us, I hope that we are able to serve you and supply the information that you seek. Our team in Australia are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
